WE KNOW STYLE
We hand pick Designer Furniture Market Samples and bring them to you at a fraction of the price!
I have been lucky enough to furnish my home (and several of my girlfriends homes!) with designer furniture at a fraction of the price by shopping samples. Couches, love seats, tables, chairs, lamps – you name it. With the support of my family and friends I have opened Nest Knoxville to pass on these great deals to you! If sample furniture is new to you – let me tell you, it’s a secret among many of those in the know. Famous furniture manufacturers make samples of each piece to send to the High Point Market twice a year. The “market” which is held in High Point, NC is the largest home furnishings industry trade show in the world! These samples that are showcased there have all the bells and whistles and many swear the samples are even better quality than that of a custom piece ordered from the exact same manufacturer! Remember this is the piece buyers from all over the world will see when selecting what and how many to stock in their stores, so outfitting a piece with the best materials and all the upgrades available is super important. But, most importantly it is how you get such a great deal by shopping with us!
Why Buy Samples?

I’m an instant girl. I like drive through coffee and clothes off the rack. I hate to wait. Guess what?! At Nest Knoxville it is this simple. You see it. You buy it. You take it home that day! (Or whenever you talk that neighbor with a truck into coming by – and if that doesn’t work we also offer local delivery.)
I don’t know how to say this…
Most furniture store experiences involve sales people. Commission. I need you to know that that pressure doesn’t exist at Nest Knoxville. The deal with our inventory is that it’s always changing. I want you to feel comfortable enough to swing by weekly AND enjoy the experience! Feel free to tell me what your looking for and I can keep an eye out on my next shopping trip too!
Bridal Registry. This is soooo much better than a blender! Your guests will have the ability to ‘gift’ you items for your home. I have a pair of chairs from my parents that are over 30 years old. I’ve recovered them; they are good as new and old with memories. Come in and pick out a couch that is so well made you can give it to your children. Just planning ahead…

I’VE HAD THIS DREAM
Growing up in the family furniture business…
Nest Knoxville truly is a dream come true for myself and my husband, Marshall Stair. I was born in Hickory, NC – what is commonly referred to as the “furniture capital of the world”. I have always been so proud to be from an area so widely known for it’s quality and craftsmanship. My parents own and operate a business that provides swatches to the industry and my grandfather also had a similar business, so pairing my love for business and furniture comes very naturally. I moved to Knoxville in 2002 to attend The University of Tennessee. After graduating with a degree in Accounting and Finance and moving along in the corporate world for 10 years, I never lost my love of furniture. It was a dream that I always talked about, but truthfully never had the guts to do until I met Marshall (sappy, I know). Marshall comes from a long line of Knoxvillians. His great-grandfather worked for White Lily Flour, his grandfather worked for Standard Knitting Mills and his mother and father have been active in the community for decades. Marshall works as an attorney for Lewis Thomason by day and serves as on the Knoxville City Council by night. After getting married in December 2015, we decided it was time to stop talking and start doing and we began looking for a storefront. Marshall has a deep commitment to the city and has always believed in the importance of a thriving downtown. So, when we found the perfect space on the most iconic block in Knoxville, we knew we couldn’t pass it up. We opened a few short months later and haven’t look back! We are very excited to be a part of all the exciting things that are happening downtown and hope that you will come see us!
See you soon,
